In this performance I deal with an issue that shapes our daily life: Food. As consumers we are subject to
many manipulations: the capitalistic structure of food production as well as political madness of regulation
of the foodmarket. The massive meat consumption by human beings all over the world is factor number two
in the causes of global warming and climate change. Through massive cattle and pig raising groundwater
is polluted, huge amounts of grain is being wasted as fodder for animals, and many plants and animals are
extinguished through extensive usage of herbizides, pestizides, and deforestation. The misery of the
animals is the barns is being ignored. |
